My fiancé and I are doing DIY and we cannot figure our how we should format the address portions under beneficiary information. Her home address and her employers addresses do not follow the same format. For example, she lives in santolan, pasig city, metro manila. What lines do her barangay, district and city go under since metro manila is not a province?

For Jaycel's address info on the I-129F, her DS-160 and now her AOS package applications, we put her barangay after her street number and name in that box. She did not have a district or anything so we didn't have to worry about that. Just fit it in the best that you can. We had no problems. The biggest thing is street number an name if she has one, city, province, country and postal code

For "Metro Manila" put "NCR" as the province. (National Capital Region).  Put the actual city,  IE Pasig City. There is a 4 digit zip code.  You may have to Google that.  All addresses should include a barangay.  Beyond that, freestyle rules apply and it is a very inexact science.  There might or might not be a subdivision, purok, street, block, corner, sito, prominent building or landmark house number, etc.

If it is just for informative purposes on a visa application then the format is probably not that critical.  If you actually expect a real delivery of something at that address ask what if anything was ever successfully delivered there before and what address worked.  IE, have they ever ordered stuff from Lazada before?  The most critical part of any address used for actual delivery is that they have a good, complete, reachable cell phone number that would really be answered.  Since probably half of Philippine deliveries come down to the delivery guy getting to the general area and calling or texting to ask for directions.

Delivery guy in the Philippines has to be one of the most challenging occupations on the planet.

Agreed!

My wife is from a tiny island.  I listed her address as "no formal street address" on all of her paperwork.  It only had the barangay, city, and province.  Somehow, they managed to deliver the often not received "packet 4" (or whatever the one is that has the Imbra pamphlet in it) to her.  It arrived after her interview was already completed, but it did arrive.  I guess the island is so small that everybody knows everybody.

I also wanted a reliable address to send documents to her.  I chose a FedEx office that said they would hold the delivery for her.  I asked for their address.  Their official address is "at the corner of street X and Y."  Looking at their office on Google maps, I could see that it was within 1/4 mile of that intersection, but certainly not AT the intersection.  I chose a different method to send the documents.

Wow that is super informative, thank you so much for your help, I can't begin to express how grateful I am to finally receive such a rock solid answer and the reasoning behind it. She has had things delivered to her including mail from me. I spoke to someone else who went through the process that is also from Pasig, she said that for province they put metro manila. Everything I've mailed to her and flowers I've had delivered to her were successful using metro manila as the province when province was asked for. Again it was so nice to receive this reply, thank you!
