office said at end of interview "Your visa is approved" but after an hours status updated on ceac website says "Administrative Processing" seeking advice

My husband had interview this morning at Islamabad embassy and officer said at end of interview that visa has been approved and he should expect the visa in 1 - 2 days but after an hour the CEAC updated his system and it shows "Administrative Processing" What should we do?

 

Is there anything we can do or how long will be the wait?
Has anyone had same experience?

This is very common.  Verbal approval is just that, and it is not legally binding.  Assuming based on your post the consulate did not request any additional documents, all you can do now is wait.  AP in Pakistan can be lengthy since the consulates do not accept police certificates from there, so it may take a while to complete background checks.

Long AP is the norm, and having a Visa issued that quickly would be unusual anywhere.
