Late June-Mid July 2024 Filers, Skipped Batch

Maybe I am just not smart enough to reconcile the numbers..... opinions welcomed.... but it looks like these do not match. 

If I understand correctly you're checking the nearby cases percentage under your subscription which doesn't show the whole month of July and the other number shows the overall number for July. I might be wrong though.

 

I was hoping they'd at least go under 1500 cases for July as our range is 1275 so that would give us some hope we might see a movement in a month but 1699 is not promising at all. Not to mention that this month has/had the lowest number of processed applications in the last 18 months which is visible on TMVN. Absolutely horrifying.

I also think this is how it is represented, but admittedly I am tired and not feeling very smart these last couple of days.

When you say 'go under 1500' you mean to say you had hoped they would have processed enough to have less than 1500 left?

And I honestly can't believe that didn't happen but I guess they were too busy with August applications. 🙄

We went from hoping to finally be together this upcoming spring to thinking if it happens by the end of 2025 we'd consider it a success.

That said, I have a drinking straw that leads to the surface of the water... trying to be both optimistic and realistic.

Again, I can only imagine how January, February, March and so on filers from last year feel when they see August being processed. It's even worse than for us.

One RFE was received and one moved to 'other' in our group.


I see that 'Late July' (If we are 'Early July'  ) continues to move without anything new happening with any speed from September onwards.

My suspicion and hope is that when 'late july' finishes, they return to 'early july'.

Now... What the heck does 'other' mean?

What would you speculate on happening to late June? To humor me and the other unfortunate (but hopeful) souls in who landed on the last few days of June still not processed.

Well it is very hard to say and I don't want to make too many bold assumptions, but in an organized world one would assume that as labor finished on whatever sections are 'current' they might be allocated to one that 'remains' to mop up.

In my mind it would be organized to finish late July and and early August, then do Late June/Early July (These seem to be in the same lump?) and then Late August.
It just kinda looks like they are focused on working through Late July / Early August at the moment from the numbers while somebody is 'sorting' inbound applications.

Who knows though, as organized and sensible as that sounds predictions are worth so little.

I'd welcome other thoughts of course, and temper my assumptions with the knowledge that they are only that.

In an organized world we wouldn't be in this situation to start with. But yes, let's agree that in an "organized world" we should be next. But I'm so discouraged with the current numbers. Yesterday not even 1 July application was approved. They are working on August 15th and 16th cases according to casestatusext. There's still 400 July applications between current number of unprocessed ones and our range (I'm not counting June here). Our July range is around 1200 and currently there's more than 1600 applications waiting. At this rate I'm not sure if we can hope for the beginning of March for things to start moving tbh. 

I thought they couldn't go lower than December number of processed applications but it seems January will be even worse.

I only see those 13 from yesterday, nothing was showing on Monday. Still, terribly low. But at this point, like you said, I'll take it.
