Packet 3 Status Inquiry & CEAC Website Trouble

Hello! This website has been a very helpful resource for our Visa journey thus far, so I figured I'd make an account to ask some questions:

The status of my Visa application on the CEAC website has been set to "Ready" since October 3rd, it is now November 23rd and I haven't recieved anything in the mail or by email regarding Packet 3. On top of this, the CEAC website hasn't been allowing us to check the status anymore and doesn't load anything following pressing the submit button. Not even a message telling me that anything was filled out wrong or they couldn't find my case. I can confirm it's set to "Immigrant Visa" and I am entering my MTL number correctly. We've tried multiple devices on different internet connections as well.

I do have all the documents for Packet 3 ready, and I've seen that some users on here have successfully received Packet 4 by emailing their documents to the Montreal Embassy before they recieved Packet 3. Some users never even received Packet 3 at all and followed through with this. Is this a good idea? If so, what email should I send my documents to?

It's almost been 2 months and I'm worried that my Packet 3 has been lost in the mail, and not being able to check the status of my Visa case is worrying me. Is there anything I can do?

Unsure about Canada but for UK I only recieved a welcome letter which just told me to schedule an appointment. It contained the same info as on the consulate website.

For a K1, you don't email documents, you take paper copies of everything.

I would just schedule your medical and interview now, and complete your DS-160 as you've lost some time waiting.

Good luck!

Canada has a p3 and p4 process where they have to email some documents. They have to do that then wait for the status to update as a 2nd ready status. I don't recall the specifics but I remember my Canadian friend talking to me about it.

Essentially the embassy has some sort process where once its ready at embassy the beneficiary should receive an email requesting certain things, they send it to the provided email address then once the embassy confirms they have it, they get sent p4 which details instructions for the interview and once they receive 2nd ready status then they can proceed. Something along those lines.

I'd suggest the k1 discord OP, it has a channel dedicated to Canada and there's a whole thread on there about the updated Canadian process including p3 and p4 steps.

My friend said she emailed the embassy herself because she didn't get p3, and a few days later they sent her p3(email) and she responded with the relevant docs, they then responded the following morning and she could proceed to book interview as soon as p4 arrived.

I don't recall the specifics so I am sorry!

Thanks for your insight! Is there any chance you could ask her for the email she inquired about p3 to?
