Should I be worried?

I sent my I485 and I765 on 10/28/24 with UPS and they never gave me a tracking number for my mail. I’m a stress head/worrier in general so I’m just basically asking for reassurance.

I still haven’t heard anything and I’m going crazy 🥹🥹 no e notification to say the Chicago lockbox has it or anything? What do I do?

Usps or ups?. If it was by the post office, you won't get a tracking number unless you send it certified mail. Also did you pay by personal checks or credit card?. Has your card been charged or checks cashed?

Finally please create your timelines

Create my timelines?

Everything you send with UPS has a tracking number. Yes in your profile you can update the dates of when important events occurred and it useful for the website in aggregate for forecasting when uscis may act on your case.

Did you send it from the UPS Store? They should have given you a receipt for your payment which would have the tracking number on it.

I did but they never gave me a tracking number and when I tried to call them about it they said that with first class mail they don’t give tracking numbers 😭

Ok then the UPS store sent it via USPS not UPS because USPS is the only carrier that handles First Class Mail

You're worrying too much. I've been on this site for 13 years and I've never once seen a packet not getting to the intended place. The only times I've seen where they weren't delivered was if the address was wrong or their was no postage/not enough postage.

Yeah I’m definitely a flapper and I’m worrying for sure. Thank you 🥹

Believe me I get it... Jaycel and I were worrying the whole time our AOS was in transit to the lockbox and we had a tracking number to follow :) Then we spent this whole week worrying that our package would just sit in a pile and not get processed until we saw they cashed our checks and we got our eNotification this afternoon. This whole process is full of waiting and wondering and I don't think we will ever get used to it! LOL Hopefully the journey to naturalization goes quickly for all of us

You probably have to wait another 4 weeks until you finally get your NOA if I go with my own timeline. So nothing to worry about yet. Although I get it, I worried as well until I read most others were in the same boat.

FYI be prepared for your credit card to decline the payment. This is a common issue and cashier's checks are recommended to be the safest bet.

Good luck!

I’m very much aware of this thank goodness otherwise I’d have freaked out but luckily I look at all the forums and was made aware of this a few days after I filed. Me and my husband have a chequebook prepped and ready to go when it comes back 😂
