There is no evidence of that.  I'm sure you are aware that the estimated times are notoriously inaccurate and change frequently.  The same thing happened to my wife's case.  It jumped from 3 months to 9 months on the day they scheduled the interview.

We filed on Dec 3rd in Houston (online), and were happy in January when the estimated processing time to schedule an interview was 3 months.

Last week it the status went blank, then this Monday it shows at 7.5 months.  I am wondering if the new administration and their push back on immigration will add to the timeframe to process these cases.   Wishing everyone here good luck.  

As it has been said in this forum probably a thousand times: the “my progress” tap is completely unreliable. It can go from 2 months to 7… back to 3 and then all the way up to 40… and still none of it is accurate or based on anything tangible. 

 

That being said, trying to read something out of a feature that is not based on reality is a great way to waste time and get all worked up.

Hey hey!! Interview is scheduled!! We filed in 12/10/24. However the letter doesn’t appear on our account. I know we will receive a letter, but how can some have access to it on the “document” section? It doesn’t show on ours. Thanks!

I’ve seen the documents tab lag 3 to 4 days behind a change in case status

Yes. I realized that and found the date. It's 26th of March, 2025!
