No, don't skip children. All of this information should be clearly disclosed. It's bad idea to not list children, because it could be viewed as fraud / misrepresentation. You cannot skip questions or answer them incorrectly to avoid follow up questions and paperwork.

Correct.  It's a question.  Answer it.  If you don't know your A number and/or Naturalization Certificate enter zeros.  That means your evidence of US Citizenship is your passport.  You don't actually need your Naturalization Certificate.  No actual consequences for misplacing it as long as you have the passport.

Great, that makes me feel better. (About not having the naturalization certificate).

I think you are correct, we are better off disclosing all information even if that means more paperwork.

thanks a lot for your reply.

Did you upload all other evidence? This is for missing evidence

The other evidence I will have, includes the marriage certificate, a lease of an apartment that we are renting in both of our names in Colombia.
pictures of our experiences together.
anything else you can recommend?

It's not more paper.  You just give the information asked for about the children.  To leave it blank would not be truthful.  It's ok for something to be unknown.

The primary evidence the petitioner is with you, would be in their passport or boarding passes.

Re: naturalization certificate; if you want to replace it, it could take a while. It took 18 months for a friend as she had to physically go to the local USCIS office so they could look up data she didn’t have about her naturalization, only to be told that when they digitized paper records, they only recorded her date of birth, parents names, and date of entry into the United States and they didn’t know if, when, or where she became a citizen. They then had to manually search the paper records storage warehouse to re-digitize the records, so that she could go physically to the local USCIS office again, so they could tell her the data she needed to apply for a naturalization certificate.

Heard similar horror stories both pre and post the change from district courts to administrative agencies handling naturalization.

All that to say — USCIS does not keep good electronic records of who is and is not a citizen after someone becomes a citizen. Just use your full passport (every page scanned.) If you want a new naturalization certificate it’s going to take a while.
