Filling out I 130 form

Question “what is your A number” when 
filling out I 130 form?

I have a passport not a green card, what should I write? Should I find my very old green card from before I became a US citizen? Or does it not apply to me?

Hi, form I 130 asks for the number on naturalization certificate. I can’t physically locate that certificate, I probably have it misplaced somewhere. 
is there any other way to find that number? Request a copy of the certificate?

It means that a moderator moved your post to the forum where it best fits.   Nothing to worry about .. Just an admin process that goes on all  the time. It’s easier to get good answers if it’s in the “ best fit “ forum

It's bad news you misplaced your certificate. It's really a vital document one should keep very safe.

 

Of course you can order replacement, which isn't cheap or fast.

 

Of course, you can skip entering A number, but it's best if you do.

 

A number would be printed on your old GC or naturalization certificate.

 

You may need certificate in your process sponsoring somebody.

Question, my beneficiary has 2 children in Colombia. When filling out I130 form, it asks to name beneficiary’s family if any, is it better to name his children although they will not be entering the US now? Or maybe leave it blank and save extra paperwork? Does mentioning his children imply extra work/paperwork?

Can someone please tell me what this means and give me an example of what documents to use in this section. My soon to be husband  lives in Colombia. 
 I appreciate any advices.

No, don't skip children. All of this information should be clearly disclosed. It's bad idea to not list children, because it could be viewed as fraud / misrepresentation. You cannot skip questions or answer them incorrectly to avoid follow up questions and paperwork.

This is optional and not applicable. Colombia uses Roman letters, this can be skipped.

Did you upload all other evidence? This is for missing evidence
