HI Folks

Pri does not like me spending more hrs on VJ she rants that even on wknds i spend about 3 or 4 hrs in here and we hardly happen to talk..

i realised her ranting is valid on her part, before VJ i used to talk with her for quite some time and that has been reduced..

so is this happening with other members here; do their other half feel that you do not spend time with him or her due to VJ..not in any bad sense as of flirting etc but I Feel WOMAN need excuse to complain about???let it VJ or a six pck beer there is always a rant

Cmon guys do you agree

comments are welcome

whtever is the case I like VJ and luv to spend time here

Cheers :thumbs::thumbs:

When we are both home neither of us likes it if the other gets wrapped up on the computer for hours. I usually come on here while sujeet is at work or if he's at home I will quickly check in occasionally. He would get irritated if I spent hours on here while he's at home, and I get irritated if he spends hours doing computer programming stuff at home on the weekends. So we don't do that stuff when we're both home. You should spend time talking to your fiance on the weekends instead of sitting on here for hours! :P In the past when I would spend even more time on VJ Sujeet would get concerned sometimes that I was wasting too much time of the day on VJ. I actually agree with him. But sometimes there is a debate or conversation that ends up eating away at time. He hardly has come on VJ in the past. He loves the information available here for the visa process, but doesn't get involved in the social aspect of it. Since I'm not working, I end up on here more.

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)

Nah... mostly surf here from work (skipped that whole verboten part on IE blocker to get in :D)

anyway.. sometimes i'll check in and see whats up, but most my after work time already used with her... so its a non issue... now when she's watching her favorite novela.. i sneak into Guildwars

but i do make time for her... i have a couch, i have a bed... never should the one be mistaken (or forced to be mistaken) for the same. Unless it's laundry.. then all bets off

I spend most of my time on VJ when my husband either isn't home or is watching icky 'man television' like 'The Sopranos' or 'Kill Bill'... I don't like violence or foul language so I try not to be in the same room while he watches them (and I try hard not to hear them through the walls either!) Sometimes I feel a bit neglected because he'd rather watch that icky stuff than spend time with me... but then he puts on a family movie or a chick flick for me (and besides, I realise that I can watch whatever I want during the day when he's out at work, and he has to have his relaxation time in the evening)

I spend a lot of time on here during the days when my husband is at work, and sometimes in the evening if he's watching sports or something I'm not interested in on t.v.

If I do go on and he's not otherwise occupied, he does get upset, because he feels I have all day (being as I'm not working right now) to do my "chatting" on VJ.

Plus.... his biggest beef is..... he's fed up with Immigration and all it's details!!!!!! He can't even understand why I am still so interested in being on VJ.

I spend a lot of time on here during the week... I think of it has my one connection with the outside world  .... Hubby works all day so I really have nothing else to do but twiddle my thumbs...

On weekends I pop in and out now and then but I don't really spend that much time here...

Hubby gets a little annoyed sometimes (He says he doesn't :P) ... he thinks I tell you guys ALL about our personal lives, which I don't and I tell him that...

He spends time on the computer too, watching his funny vidoeo clips etc, or he likes to watch TV.... and I let him have his space... it was hard at first because I wanted him to spend time with me but I realize he needs his own time too

There's no way I'd let a freaking message board cause friction between me and my fiance. I'd stop posting here if that's what it was coming to.

For the now, I basically live on VJ and no complaints from hubby as I still spend the time with him once a day on yahoo chat/voice or phone. I imagine it will drop down once I have my visa and we are reunited but there would never be complaints as we BOTH spend an excessive amount of time sitting in front of a computer. Its an obsessive hobby for both of us so we understand each other completely. I agree with Tracy though.....if its causing a problem then one needs to cut back. It sure aint worth the relationship one has and is completely understandable that a partner can get poopy about it if the interest isnt shared and takes away quality time otherwise spent talking to your partner.

yeah, that is why I try and stay away from VJ and the computer in general when hubby is home... I don't want anything taking away quality time away from him but sometimes I just need a little fix  ...

If I didn't have VJ during the day I would go crazy

I am assuming my time here will diminish once I get a job etc....

We both have our own PCs. David is into gaming and he'll do that for a few hours until he gets too bored or whichever. He's asleep right now (I wake up earlier than he does). I usually am multi-tasking while browsing VJ, I do spend too much time on the computer. But hey, we don't have a TV or fancy dish network. :P

I still hang here a lot and have no idea why. Heck, I won't need to start worrying about Claudeth's conditions issue until late in 2007. Must be an addiction :D
