Hi everyone,

I am really upset, as my NOA is dated Feb 28.

My biometrics appointment was back in March.

Does this mean that:

1) It is going to take one year to approve this application?

2) We will be called for an interview?

You know what's really disheartening is the fact that VSC seems to move along (with approvals of end of March07 cases) and even NSC seems to work with their approvals of Dec06 cases - yet TSC - nothing, nada....

It all just makes me so mad.

A year? Who knows. Nobody knows what happened at TSC in June that apparently caused them to stop issuing I-751 approvals. All we know is that they just started shipping new ones to CSC as of July 1.

As far as the interview goes, I do not believe there is a new policy because they haven't changed the rule that gives the service center the discretion (exercised in the vast majority of cases) to waive the interview.

We mailed our application on Sept. 1, and two weeks later they still haven't even cashed our check...

Consider yourself lucky. The check-cashing delay is caused by TSC sending your I-751 to CSC, which will probably approve your petition long before TSC approves the petitions of those of us who had the misfortune to file in TSC in the first six months of this year, before TSC started transferring petitions to CSC. This thread is for us TCS January-June 2007 Losers. Now get out of here before I call security.

Good one James!

... hey, wait a second! You just called me a loser!;)

Seriously though, am I the only one who isn't worried in the slightest by this delay? I hope that's not another requirement to be admitted to this thread... :P

:help::o: :help:

So, are they still forwarding applications to CSC? I didn't know that, as I haven't seen anybody who filed in Sept. getting transferred yet, I thought that was just a "July-August" thing...in that case, I shall stop complaining and just sit and wait it out...and get the heck outta here!:innocent:

I'm pretty sure they still are, although it would be too early to know since it's been taking a few weeks for the things to get sent off to CSC and for CSC to cash the check and issue the NOA1.

Believe me, you really don't want to be in line behind us at TSC. We're Losers. We don't bathe or use deodorant, plus we smoke Tiparillos and drink bum wine.

No, I'm not worried. What's there to be worried about? I'm together with my wife, who can travel and work with her NOA1 (and get a stamp if this takes longer than a year). We will still be applying for citizenship in April. In short, we're unworried Losers and proud of it.

No need to if you have a state ID and unrestricted SSC. Both are available to CPRs. Go get them.

That said, I am quite frustrated with this fcuking Texas Service Center - they're always behind. Always. They just gotta put those bums out of work and relocate the TSC to a state where they have federal employees that actually do some work from time to time. Lazy butts over there in the Lone Star State.

I can't complain too much about TSC, they managed to speed up nicely when my I-129f got there. ;) However, it would be nice to see some life in the I-751 department.

hey tweety, cassie and the rest of my friends

If anybody can say the the TSC is broken, it would be me. Remember my story back in mid FEB, how they told me they were not even printing NOA's anymore?

Well they received my case on 14 FEB 07 and My wife has still yet to receive the NOA with the 1 year extention statment on it, nor have she had biometrics done.

I have called the National number many times, pretty much every 40 days or so...LOL. They show my wife in the system as filed and continue to give me here case number over the phone, (alot of good that does) LOL. And now that the date has passed for normal processng times, they put in the request to mail the NOA and to have her called for biometrics.. that request was made 10 days ago, and still nothing yet. so we will see..

So case received and checks cashed Feb 14, received the receipt for biometrics paid, with a lable stuck to the paper with receipt number. (of course doesnt work on website)

and thats it.

so 7 month into process, and nothing but a biometrics paid receipt....

So yes I can attest that TSC, is broken as hell.......

Good luck to everyone who filed in the first 6 months of 2007 at TSC....

I share your pain....

Hello everyone! New here....

I just wanted to add myself to this TSC mess.

I am in the same boat as everyone else. Filed the 751 on February 9th, Biometrics on March 15th, 1 year extension received (cant remember when) then zilch!

I did however call the national 800 number and was told something different from everyone else. The operator told me that I should send a letter to the TSC asking for an updated status on our file since we were outside of the 6 month time frame.

After reading this post and the many others, I think I will just wait it out.

We have everything in order except one thing. My wife's drivers license expired on her birthday at the end of June. Well, without an acceptance letter from the USCIS the DMV would not allow her to renew her license. We really have no choice but to let her keep driving eve on an an expired license.

That's my side in a nut shell. I will try to update my profile at a later time.
