Good! Well, I hope all of us on this thread, having waited 6 months or longer starts contacting their Senators.

It's the only way to put a push on the TSC, and most importantly, for us to get our lives moving forward!

The lack of accountability is absolutely ridiculous. If any one of us performed this way on our jobs, we wouldn't be employed for too long!

I forgot to mention I got a reponse some weeks ago regarding my first sevice request way back in may?.. they said they are processing my case and the the cr189 will not be issued until the I-751 is approved....

That's was sooooo helpful of them! Kinda like telling somebody that they won't be able to see the moon until it rises.

Meh

I'm going to be at 6 months from NOA1 a week from tomorrow. I don't know what this business is about waiting an extra 30 days in case they have sent you something by mail (presumably either a notification that card production has been ordered or an RFE) because such things would be reflected on the online case status and you could find it out immediately.

Anybody remember that old Jack Lemmon film "The Out of Towners" from the early 70s, the one where he and his wife are abused and set-upon tourists in NYC? I'm going to be like him and start taking names.

I know this is a little off topic, but did anyone see My Name is Earl last night? The part where randy got ahold of the shotgun and the fridge?

I wonder if I could blow a hole in my wife's old green card the same way?

Lord that was funny!

Cool, my signature says I have exceeded quota! Must be the USCIS talking to my "count up" clock!

I was wondering may-be we should add another column to our timelines for service requests and senator's involved? Would be nice to follow up if they move anything....

Maybe we should wait and see if any of these things pan out? From what I've seen, the service requests don't lead anywhere (except maybe Frustration City). Has anyone who has called, and has been told that TSC will contact them in 30 days, actually gotten any info then from TSC, and did it say anything other than "we'll let you know" or something like that?

When I called the national 800 number I was told that because my wife's 751 was past 6 months I would need to write the the TSC myself and ask for an updated status. Needless to say i never wrote anything back because I know what they would write back....

"Your application is in process....we sent you a 1 year extension...blah, blah, blah"

Same thing happened to me. I got transferred within USCIS. First person very nice and understanding. The second person was quite rude and spoke horrible English that was almost impossible to understand. They've tried to sell me that one year processing #######, but I told them what their USCIS website says (processing within 6 months). She also started blabbering some ####### about how some people might get called for an interview (stuff I didn't want to know and didn't ask for....) - it made me think they were reading a call script.....

So since you filed in February, their actual processing times are at least ten months? You have to wonder why they don't just put that up for a processing time instead of this phony 6-month business. (Maybe they will when the new times come out this week, but I doubt it.)

Does anyone know if the processing at TSC has stopped only for I751 or if other applications are affected as well? I mean do they process I129f, N400s? are they doing anything at all at TSC?
