Hi all, I want to share our timeline for others. I have seen others timeline on here for my country and it was super quick maybe within 6 months. Excited for my timeline since my fiance just got a text for NOA1. Been checking the update since I got the email from my attorney that they sent the petition. I tracked the USPS since it was sent. Finally got news for NOA1. I will update timeline as it comes.

USCIS is, as far as I know, not country based. So your NOA1/NOA2 is just based on how fast USCIS is. And they've been VERY fast. We got our NOA2 after I believe 5-6 months after the NOA1.

Hi all. Right now I and my fiance is just at NOA1 stage and the estimate says that maybe in Oct 2024 I will receive decision. I hope for that. I know timeline estimate on this website is for reference only. However I wonder if the timeline correctly predict the date to your case?

Mine was more or less accurate, predicting August. When we initially filed (end of March) I personally estimated Sept. My timeline/signature show details. 

 

Processing seems to be much faster now compared to this time last year. Good luck!

VJ estimates are based on the analysis of the most cases . These are not 100%, mine says July 15 when I filed in April. Now that adjudicated date has been long passed and I'm still waiting to hear something from USCIS. 😆 I'm thinking USCIS will tell me something in Oct or Nov 25. That's my estimate. So always give it 2-3 months extra on top of VJ estimates. Good luck to all of us stay positive and be hopeful 👍

I think the only people where it will be fairly accurate for a while is those who filed late March - May. Those of us before, and those after are in limbo as USCIS isn't really processing applications as "first-come first-serve." Seems like the estimates will be messed up until they get back to normal processing.

To be clear the USCIS is the first stage of the process, and “average” application approval seems consistent with the estimate of 3 months. PLEASE note that it then has to go to NVC for case creation and interview set up which can take at least 3 months more more likely more.

I filed in June and was just approved, my estimate was about three to four weeks after the actual date

I feel bad lately that the processing time has increased. my NOA1 is like July 30 or August 1. I am confused about the dates. but anyway, it been almost 3 months with no thing yet. I am hoping to be there soon with my fiance. hopefully i can receive approval by the end of this month or next month. I am hoping to move to the US at the beginning of next year or the latest by March so I dont miss my fiance's birthday.

I'm a July 18th filer. USCIS seems to be focusing on backlogs right now, so our cases will probably be delayed by a few months. But the most recent wave seems to be June so we're not far. Keep in mind though that NVC and embassy/interview delays can happen which would add additional months. I'm hoping to get my fiancee to the US by year's end too but we're not holding our breaths.

Any early July filers approved?

 

I'm getting a bit worried because based on the casestatusext they are approving July 12, 15, 18, 19th applications. We're July 5th and I'm afraid they might do to us the same they did to that Feb 23rd-March 6th range. TMVN shows that we reached the front of the line on October 30th. We weren't expecting to be approved in a day but were hoping end of the year maybe.

 

We were aware from the beginning that this is a marathon and that we need to practice patience, we understand that USCIS is severely understaffed atm and that processing numbers keep getting lower and lower but it's so discouraging as we hoped that they were back processing chronologically.

yeah USCIS is so slow and they increase the damn fee. i thought with the fees increase they will make the case processed faster but no. I am so disappointed.

Cost of living increased significantly over the last few years. USCIS held the fees unchanged for some time. All of the slowness is a result of underfunding for the last few years. Maybe if USCIS doubled the fees they'd have money to invest and speed up processes....

Hang in there, July to November is only 4 months. Many petitions take year and over.
