My oath ceremony was cancelled ?

I had combo interview N400 /i751 interview on November 12 at Minneapolis, MN  under 3 year marriage basis. io approved my application on the spot but then I got Status update that oath ceremony cancelled

Application : sept 11 , 2024
( 2 year and 9 months

Interview: Nov 12

Also I requested name change on N400

Same day, they update my status with two updates .

- First update : We recommended that your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, be approved. Your case was submitted for quality review.

- Second update : Your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, was placed in line for oath ceremony scheduling.

Next Day I got a new update says :

( we cancelled the oath ceremony appointment scheduled for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, We will notify you by mail if the appointment is rescheduled, a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. )

It says that my oath ceremony appointment has been canceled, but they have never been sent me an appointment before this .

Is anyone is in same position?? Please advise

Thread is moved from General Immigration Discussion to the US Citizenship Case Progress subforum.

It might be a mistake, or the officiant had a scheduling conflict regarding the time that they'd contemplated, or something objective.  I wouldn't worry; just wait a little longer for clarification.

good to see you

what is the combo interview? My  I-751 is still pending but my N-400 interview is this week...

My suggestion is to bring your spouse with you even though it is only your N 400 interview if you have pending i-751.

Me and My wife both went for my N-400 interview while pending i-751 ,  Officer told me to called my wife inside and she took our i-751 interview, she asked some question to my wife as well. then she approved i-751 and then she started my N-400 interview

My husband just had his - I requested a combo interview when we filed his N-400.  They called him in by himself, did his citizenship tests, then went through our copy of the I-751 that he brought with him and asked questions on that - she never called me in for an interview, and told him she was recommending him for approval, but had to request his I-751.  He got his approval and oath ceremony notice in 3 days. Definitely have the spouse attend.
