After a late night talking to my fiancee. I got to bed at 3:30am yesterday there abouts. I was up at 7:30am in the morning. I got the train from Liverpool to London at 9:15am allowing me enough time for my medical. I was able to get a first class ticket at a very good place infact it worked out cheaper then standard class. I had a nice breakfast on train with fruit juice and lots of coffee.

I got of train at Euston had a look outside of station too see a Krispy Kreme Donuts stand I was  .

I had a sit down outside before I went to venture on the tube to Bond Street. I hate the tube, its always hot and unreliable. I got off Bond Street and followed the map to Bentinck Mansions.

I went into reception filled out the forms. The medical form and the one for the HIV test. I gave my passport and the bits and bobs likes photos. 5 mins later I got got called for chest x ray and then 10 min later I got called by the doctor.

It was the female doctor from South Africa. She had a look at my paperwork and told me that my jabs where all ok. I had a print out of the results from a chicken pox blood test that I had done by my practice nurse. She had also given me my MMR Jab.

I was asked to take shoes and socks off then I had to get weighed and my height mesasured and my eyes tested.

She asked me what medication I was on so we had a chat about that.

Finally I was asked to strip to my undies and lie down on couch. She took my blood pressure, did a examination of me and took my blood.

Then I got dressed and asked to sit and wait in waiting room.

5 mins later I got called up to pay £200 given my stuff back.

I had a look round London for a few hours and got train home.

A long day but I had a good nights sleep.

I had the female South African doctor, I found very friendly and informative and she has the distinction of being the first person to get blood out of me in one attempt.

Well Done. Another one knocked off the list :dance:

I had the same doctor, really nice lady and soooo good at the blood tests. She explained to me how she takes blood differently to most English trained "blood-takers"!! I didn't care, she got her blood and it didn't hurt :dancing:

I assumed male patients would get male doctors so was quite suprised when the above mentioned S.African, and pretty good looking, doctor asked me to strip to my underwear!

And here's a warning for other future male patients, shortly after checking you're a boy come the words 'small #######' - I 'm pretty sure she was referring to the needle she was just about to jab into me for the blood test of course!
