Help with I-751 (ROC) - Any Advice Appreciated!

Hello Visa Journey Community,

 

I’m currently working on my husband's I-751 Removal of Conditions application and handling it myself. I’d really appreciate some guidance to ensure I'm on the right track before submitting. I've listed the bullet points of what I’ve included in my package so far. If anyone could let me know if I'm missing anything or if there’s any additional evidence I should consider, that would be so helpful!

·         Chase Checking account statements from November 2022 – September 2024

 

EXHIBIT B – OTHER FINANCIALS:

·         IRS Tax Transcripts for 2022 and 2023

·         IRS Tax Returns for 2022 and 2023

·         Chase.com verification of authorized user on Freedom credit card

·         Chase.com verification of authorized user on Amazon credit card

·         Apple Card Credit Card statements from May 2022 – October 2024

EXHIBIT C – SHARED ADDRESS & COHABITATION:

Regarding taxes, what you really need is freely downloadable Tax Return Transcripts from IRS website.

Your list is good, and should be, for most officers, complete.  I would ask you one question though...what is your living situation?  Do you rent?  Do you own?  I would add a copy of a lease or a deed/mortgage.  If you live with friends, or with family, then include an affidavit from them describing your agreement, and how the two of you contribute to the household.

 

This is not a requirement - but might go a long way to add to your "co-habititation" paperwork.

I understand.   If you have home owner's insurance, be sure to add him to the list of claimants.  That way, if anything awful were to happen to you, he would be able to file a claim with the insurance company.

Seconding @Sukie's advice on homeowners insurance. We had lease documents but no shared utilities, so we, like you, submitted copies of our driver's licenses plus our renters insurance.

 

This otherwise looks more or less exactly like our submission (approved yesterday).

Wow, that looks oddly similar to ours! I was going to find a pic of our submission but it’s basically that. We just used tabs we bought at Staples instead of post-it notes.
