NATURALIZATION QUESTIONS

Hi there,

I have a few questions about N400 application:

1) In the section when they ask to update SSA for us, should we say yes? I’ve read somewhere that it could cause delays!

2) We’d like to update name (first name) but ideally would like to wait till the interview to do so. BUT, local field office does Oath and passport application the same day so, would it cause delays if we ask for name change the same day? Is it best to do during online application instead?

3)  Regarding these evidence: “Documents referring to you and your spouse:
a. Tax returns, bank accounts, leases, mortgages, or birth certificates of children; or
b. Internal Revenue Service (IRS)-certified copies of the income tax forms that you both filed for the past 3 years; or
c. An IRS tax return transcript for the last 3 years.”

What do you typically recommend to include. It says “or” do not sure if more is better. Also, we have submitted bank statements etc for removal of conditions, should we resubmit things we have already submitted?

Thanks

We used tax return transcripts - Also bank accounts, mortgage, bills, etc.. - The "Or" relates to your tax returns, it's one or the other.  My husband got approved on Wednesday.
