It was a couple hours training but didn't continue due to bad working environment. (wasn't paid due). Trying to add the date for example  01/01/23-01/01/23 but the online form won't allow it. Can it just be added in the additional information section?

anyone have experience with this?

I'd enter it as 01/01/23-01/02/23.

I don't think this is material and you can add note in Additional section saying you could not enter 01/01/23 - 01/01/23

That's what I did. Does it that matter that it wasn't paid? It was less than 2 hours and there was some change in ownership so hard to get a hold of the employer.

Fill it out like OldUser said. It doesn't matter at all, no need to add an explanation. If they have questions about it they will ask at the interview, and correct it if needed. I had several things the IO corrected that she felt was better suited than what I had filled out. No biggie at all.

Any issue with adding a note saying "unpaid training " next to it?. I just don't want to omit information.

There's no reason to do that, it doesn't matter one bit. If it mattered there would've been a specific field to add that info.
