Here's an interesting (to me anyway :) ) tidbit.... This "View Notice" button showed up on the I-485 Case Status page this morning. When you click it, it takes you to an error page

USCIS site broken as always...

Agreed. LOL But this button is brand new on the Status Page. Never seen it there before even when we had notices available to view. We always had to go into the "Documents" tab. I work in tech engineering and I am endlessly fascinated how bad the USCIS website is. Even when judged by the low-bar comparison of other government websites, it's terrible. 🤪

My EAD card was delivered yesterday, same day as the approval notice arrived. I didn't know it's valid for 5 years for some AOS filing categories, that's pretty neat in case the I-485 takes longer than a year.

That's pretty fast! Congrats!

we just have the biometric done 3-hours ago, and now the status checked on:  step-2 and step-3.

Next step is 4 "case decision" is that mean they skip the interview. ?

Ours did the same thing after the biometrics. You will not know for sure if they are going to skip the interview until they approve the case and you have the GC in hand. The "My Progress" tab is notoriously unreliable. Plan and prepare as if you are going to have to attend an interview and then be pleasantly surprised if they waive it for you. :)

There are videos from immigration attorneys that you can watch to know what to expect during an interview and you can start gathering proof of a bonafide marriage to bring with you in case they schedule you for an interview. If you are going to get a Conditional Green Card, you're going to need to gather all of this evidence for the Removal of Conditions in a couple of years anyway and I find it's best to gather the evidence as you have it, put it all into one spot so that you are not scrambling to put it all together at the last minute. But that's my own need to feed my A*** Retentive nature. LOL

Im still anxious a bit. Cant help!

I already sent my AOS and employment permit last Jan 2.. and my visa on my passport is stamped jan 1. Lol.. and due to snow storm scenarios it is still on its way and will be delayed...

Glad seeing all positivity here, i will feel better atleast once its delivered and I receive an acknowledgment from them. Truly this is a bit nerve wracking and I really wanted to start working now too. 😂

My new EAD status this morning: case closed, card produced. No tracking number yet. No movement on AOS as expected- will likely take several months. Hoping for May/June so I can attend my daughter graduation 🤞

Good deal! We will be praying for a swift approval for you! :)
