ok good…. Yes just include that with your I-485 and that will remind them you had a medical exam overseas and that you are exempt from filing the I-693 with your AOS packet.  On the back of the DS-3025 is the box checked that says “K visa applicant voluntarily completed vaccination requirements.” ?

i got just on page too... the accredited clinic says this is all they got to give me.

we will see then.. hopefully this is enough.

Unfortunately do not have that.. :(

Oh dang.... well, the DS-3025 included with your I-485 basically serves as a "reminder" to USCIS that you had a medical exam overseas so as they don't reject your application due to the new rule and also a reminder to the adjudicator that they should look for your full medical report sent by CBP in your A-File. That medical report should have its own copy of the DS-3025 in it. Keep us all posted if they give you any trouble with the copy that you have

Sure I will, I hope everything run smoothly...

and for the I-131 "Advanced Parole" application, is it necessary to do it altogether with the application? or can be filed later?

or is it even necessary even if you have the residency application approved?

thanks for the prompt responses too... been reading a lot of different articles and it can get confusing...

If you file it, you may as well file it concurrently with the I-485. It is not needed once you get the green card as you then travel with that. It does cost $630 now so we decided not to file it as we felt that having the ability to travel for a few months until the green card is approved (hopefully :) ) was not worth the filing fee.

In case anyone needs to do this.... Our status changed to "Biometrics Appointment Was Scheduled" on Friday. Within an hour we were able to see the appointment letter in the Documents tab online. We saw that it was scheduled for 01/07/2025. This was a problem as Jaycel doesn't have her driver license yet and I have work that day with meetings that would have been difficult to get out of. So we went to the online portal and under "My Account" there is a link for "Reschedule Biometrics Appointment". We went there and selected the reason for the reschedule request, put in the receipt #, the date of the original appointment, the service center and her DOB. It then gave various available dates to reschedule and when you select one, it gives the times available that day. We selected 12/26 and there were like 8 slots open that day. Once we submitted it, we got the email that "An Action Has Been Taken on Your Case". Our case status updated that Biometrics Appointment was scheduled on December 24. 2024 and about 15 minutes later we received another email that "An Action Has Been Taken on Your Case" and this was the completion of the reschedule and the notice was available for download. Be aware, you have to go back into the "Reschedule Biometrics Appointment" and look under "View Submitted Requests" in order to get the new notice. So far it has not shown up in the regular "Documents" tab.

Thank you for sharing useful insight and instructions! Do you mean biometrics was rescheduled to December 26th?

Also, no DL is needed. A valid foreign passport is OK for ID.

HAHAHAHA Yes! December 26th! And yes we will be taking Jaycel's passport, the part about her driver license I meant it to say that because of the, she is unable to driver herself to the appointment thus why we had to reschedule. We will also be taking our marriage certificate because her passport is in her maiden name.

Update to this - The new, rescheduled Biometrics Appointment notice showed up in the documents tab about 3 hours later. It replaced the original notice issued on 12/21. That one is no longer there.

Biometrics appointment attended and received stamp on the appointment notice. While we were still inside the Application Support Center, the case status for both the I-485 and I-765 changed to "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS".

That was also the case for me, it changed pretty much right after the biometrics appointment was finished.

Now all that's left to do is wait... and get a driver's license in the meantime. Luckily I can use my foreign license in PA for up to a year to bridge the gap, has to be difficult in other states without that.

Yeah Jaycel's Philippine DL is only good for 90 days here in Colorado. :( But oh well... when was your biometrics? Did you also apply for EAD
