What's the status of I-765? I think it's more important for EAD.

Same... From what I got from other AOS filers, since the two cases are linked on the online portal as "Concurrent Filing" the Biometrics Appointment notice comes on the I-485 and when it's received, it has both I-485 and I-765 forms listed on it as the "Case Type", with two separate barcodes. That's why I'm following the I-485 and checking the document tab every day.

I can confirm that, my biometrics appointment the past week was for both I-485 and I-765, I read that it's normal for the I-131 not to be included.

Hope you guys get an appointment soon, it sucks that it's so unpredictable. Then again you might get approved before people who had biometrics earlier, who knows?

Thank you for sharing this! :)

Ugh.... Still no biometrics appointment. Out of 8862 I-485s in our IOE-09-286 receipt block, we are one of only 995 that are still sitting at "Case Was Received". My poor wife..... She doesn't care how long the GC takes to be approved, she just wants to work. :(

I check that website too

im October filer

and im in block 09285

which now has 426 case received status

im filing for my dad and one of those are my dads case.

im so annoyed but just disappointed that all these thousands of cases in this block have had biometrics and not ours.

Don't worry too much! Just because biometrics are not done, doesn't mean your case will go slower. For example, when I filed I-751, I got biometrics reused quickly. Others waited a year with "Case Received" status. Majority if those folks got prioritized and decided 2-3 months before folks in my block who had biometrics done earlier.

The only thing with it not being done is that they will not process her I-765 without biometrics. Over the last few months, looking at lots of timelines here, YT and other places, the I-765 usually gets approved within a couple of days after the biometrics and the card is received within 10-15 days after that. My wife just wants to work... not too concerned with the processing time of the AOS so much. Another reason the K-1 route is inferior I guess....

I understand your frustration with waiting, but if you didn't go K-1 you would still be waiting got her to even get here!

We only submitted a copy of the DS-3025 as proof she had a medical exam abroad within 1 year of filing the I-485, which is all that is required from a K-1 visa holder adjusting status. Now, it is up to USCIS to get the Medical Exam results from Jaycel's A-File. It should have been sent to USCIS from CBP when they took her yellow packet at the PoE. If they can't find it or are negligent and don't look for it, then they will issue us an RFE for the I-693 and at that point we will just play their game and get another medical exam done and submit the I-693. We figured that if they do their job correctly, they will have the medical on file already. If not, the delay for an RFE for a medical is usually not that significant. Hopefully by then she'll have her EAD and the delay won't matter much. Yes it's a gamble but we would rather not pay for another medical exam unless we have to.

I am a little worried as i do not have any copy of my medical stuff - the registered clinic in Doha, Qatar just gave me a copy of my vaccination records, the rest are released by the embassy to be given to the immigration officer upon arrival and I am not allowed to open it..

There is no DS 3025 or any new form that is needed effective Dec 1 ( there is a new form again)...

Any other applicants experienced this from other countries?

The Clinic is required to give you a DS-3025 for your records. This is what the top of the form looks like. If you don't have it, you should contact the clinic and see if they will email it to you. What is in the sealed packet from the embassy is your full medical exam record which you are not supposed to open and surrender to CBP at your Port of Entry.

ok good…. Yes just include that with your I-485 and that will remind them you had a medical exam overseas and that you are exempt from filing the I-693 with your AOS packet.  On the back of the DS-3025 is the box checked that says “K visa applicant voluntarily completed vaccination requirements.” ?
