Getting ready to send off our packet.. since we can't use paperclips and fasteners, how did you hold or separate your documents,  also who's more dependable,  usps or fedex/ups

Oh i didnt know about paper clips lol. I have paper clips separating documents and binder clips to hold everything together. Oops.

11-27-24: USCIS Confirm receipt of case and sent gave us a case number. USCIS also added case to online account.
Personal check not cashed yet by USCIS

did you write USCIS online account num on the i-751 form? I didn't write my account num but I  have an online account with the same email address I wrote on forms.

Package delivered 11/29

We are thinking of taking a short trip 12/19-12/23. Does anyone know the odds of biometrics getting scheduled during this time? Seems like there is high odds it’ll get reused or scheduled for a later date.. but don’t want to book these nonrefundable airbnbs and have to cancel

It’s very likely they will reuse your biometrics

Update - November 30th notice of biometrics re-use and case status online reads “case is being actively reviewed by USCIS.”

we have access to all documents online so we can see all notices. We can also see uploads of the package we sent.

we hope this process is fast and smooth as the original green card which took less than 90-days from submission to receiving the card. Crossing fingers.

I-751s take 2-3 years typically with some exceptions of super fast adjudications in 3-6 months. I'd be mentally prepared to wait at least a year, then file N-400 since I-751 is most likely going to be pending then.

11-30-24:  Notice of Action sent by USCIS.

I believe this is the 48 month extension letter according to what it says, right?

12-02-24: Biometrics Appointment Scheduled for 27th December
