Engagement problem

So me and my fiancee met online september 2023, we became official on january 2024 and met for the first time in Algiers september 2024 only for a week. I am from Algeria and he’s moroccan who was born in the US, spent his first 18 years in Morocco then went back to the US, which means that we speak the same dialect (darija) and have the same culture and religion. Also we are both 23 years old. When he visited me in Algeria he got to meet my family (mother, sister and cousins), our families spoke on a videocall right when he went back home from his visit to talk about how to meet to officialize the engagment in a traditional way which is not gonna happen until february 2025. We have no evidence of engagment (no engagment ring, proposal or engagment party) yet, however we have plenty of pictures together and pictures of our parents facetiming each other. He doesn’t have any financial problems or criminal record (me neither). Is this good enough or would we need more proof ?

I would wait for the 2nd meeting in person to file the K1 as u have little "in person" quality time together

Algeria is like Moroc and CO's want to see that quality "face time"

1 short visit -do not petition just yet/  CO only looks at submitted evidence and CO at our embassys ignore evidence u bring to interview (even ask for it later) so at least 1 more time together.   CO will probable ask "when was the last time together?"  that is best time to say "when or USC is here now" to add your additional time together

1.  Ages are good

2.  Shared religions is great

3.  still young enough for children even better

4. u do not have to show engagement party and I wouldn't as it may look like marriage celebration

5. about 25 photos of the meeting is plenty . / a few with algerian family to show their approval/ i scanned 3 to 8x11 size paper and sent them in like that.

6. do the "intent to marry "  letter from algerian while there

7.  u can even print out the I 129 and fill it out in Algeria so  all info is correct but mail it from USA

allah yekbel
