When to sign form on day of oath ceremony?

My husband has his oath ceremony this Saturday in Houston.  I was wondering if he signs the form before or does he have to sign it in front of an officer? The form I am talking about is the one that asks if he has been married, committed crimes, etc. since his interview.  Thank you.

Wife signed it just before we left to drive to the oath ceremony.  Follow these instructions:

 

After you have answered each question, print the date and the location (city and state) where you completed the questionnaire. The date when you completed the questionnaire should be the same as the date of your Naturalization Oath Ceremony. Also, sign the questionnaire and print your current address.

it may have changed since we did it but adil's said "at the oath time and place with USCIS officer/judge as witness"

When I did mine last year, the Houston officers were very strict about signing it in front of them.  I'd just hold off and do it there.

The form we have does not say to sign in front of officer or judge.  That's why I asked.  Some people say theirs did.  Thank you.

My wife's did not say that.  My quote was directly from the oath appointment she got.  It will do no harm if you just wait.

Filled out everything else and just left the signature.  They made me change the place to "Houston".  I had originally put "Spring" where I live.  So, there's that.

I signed it at home the day before (but with the date of the oath). If anything changes you can just print a new copy from your online account.

Yup, those are the exact instructions, just checked mine. Doesn't say anywhere that it has to be done in front of an immigration officer or anybody else.

If OP is still on the fence, s/he can bring two copies of the form. One that is already filled out and signed, and one that is blank in case they want it redone in front of them. At my office they were happy that everything was already filled out, signed and dated - made things go much smoother and faster.
