Hello everyone,

if we are applying for fee reduction, for n-400 form. What documents we need to attach with paper application we are sending? Would Only last year tax transcript would be good enough? Do the check we send along with application is $380?

I'd attach tax return transcripts for the last 3 or 5 years depending on you applying based on marriage or under general provision.

Someone else in the other post shared their n400 has been rejected due to either incorrect fee or applying before 90 days.

Filing online and paying $710 is a guarantee your application won't be rejected for incorrect fees.

Otherwise, if you want to pay reduced fees, make sure to write a cover letter in big letters explaining why you qualify for fee reduction. Quote the exact clauses in immigration law. Stick it at the front of your packet.
