Hello. I apologize in advance for any mistakes, because my English is not rlly perfect.
I am a citizen of Russia. We met with my fiance once in Turkey and stayed there together for 2 weeks. It was in December 2023. We filed a petition in April 2024 and received approval in July. All this time, we communicate in Discord almost 24/7, we literally have daily calls for 10-20 hours and endless text messages.
So, the US Embassy doesnt work in Russia, so we moved our case to Hong Kong. The interview is planned for January. We want to meet there again, and at the same time visit Thailand before the interview itself. Then we will go back to Hong Kong, and he will wait for me at the building while I go through the interview.
We do not have any criminal or illegal stays. We are the same age (25 years old).
But I am worried that two meetings may not be enough for visa approval. :(
The Hong Kong embassy has few reviews and is poorly known for Russian citizens. Could we run into difficulties due to the low number of mettings? thank you

Should not be an issue.  Your only challenge may be language as in Hong Kong you will most likely need to do the interview in English, but it appears you have a decent grasp.  Btw, my now wife and I only had two in person meetings when I filed the I129F, and our third meeting was when I met her in Moscow for her interview (back in 2014 Moscow was still open).

Good Luck!

@Dashinka Thank you for sharing how many times you had spent time in person!

@yulia g Many say more time is better, and it is, but so many are approved with only a couple visits. You passed the first approval so there is a good chance of passing the second. The time spent together seems to have a bigger impact on how many visits. Wishing you and your partner good luck and wonderful future 💜
