Scheduling Biometrics Appointment for my parents after getting email with Visa Interview details

My parents received the email with Visa Interview Details (@ Mumbai on Nov. 18th, 2024). But I am not able to schedule a biometrics appointment for them using US Visa Scheduling website. I only see Mumbai in the drop down as available and no dates. I have been trying for over a month now. What are my options?

1. Can they just go for the visa interview even if biometrics is not yet scheduled?

2. Or, do I need to reschedule the visa interview? If yes then what are the steps to do that?

Appreciate the help guys!
