I believe after Jan. 20th appointments for Spouses/children under 21 of US citizens under Consular Processing will advance faster because a lot of family based applications that fall under the Visa Bulletin, K1 visas etc will be put on hold/delayed/cancelled like Trump adm. did last time. What you guys think?

We need a central thread for speculations, may be interesting to look at processing times over the last 10 years, my impression is that we are close to a peak.

Also begs the question what percentage of CDJ cases are K1? For some reason I assume it is small.

The prior change in priority between fiancée and spouse visas was due to Covid.  It was a Trump  Administration when the change was made, but no reason to think that would happen again without a specific reason.
