Hello everyone ,

I sent RFE response via USPS priority Mail and checked the status of it which says delivered in the given p.o.box . But apparently USCIS hasn't receive it yet . Can Anyone tell how long does it take for those snails to recieve it and update the status ?? Thank you 😊

Status updates are unreliable and your online status may never update even if they received and processed it. As long as you have proof of delivery then that’s all you need.

I could imagine that as long as you have the proof you are good but in the end make sure you can provide the evidence again since you want something from USCIS and to get it it’s important that they get the evidence 🙈 in case you have to send it again

If it helps with time estimation: we received the RFE from USCIS on August 3, 2024 and responded within 3 days . On August 22, 2024, we received notification form USCIS that they received our response. It took approximately 16 days.

Sorry to hear that..Yes I have got a response for my RFE from USCIS on August 22. It took them about 16 days to respond after we sent back our response to the RFE..it seems that in September USCIC is moving slower with the files.

Receiving the package in a mail room versus a CO opening and acknowledging receipt of the contents are 2 different kettle of fish in the USCIS world.  Hang onto your tracking info and hold tight.  While I understand how unnerving it can be, 4 days is nothing to write home about yet.

I love it ... This whole process motivated me to put effort to get a job in USCIS where I won't have to put up with customer's questions and queries and only have to come to office pick up five files out of pile of 50000 scratch my head all day,and and ignore all the taxpayers get payed and go home sleep and repeat next day 😂 😂 😂 😂

USCIS is funded by filing fees, not taxes
