Applied today! Immediately received receipt notice, biometrics reuse notice, and case status changed to "case is being actively reviewed." Estimated processing time is 7 months, but fingers crossed it's faster than that!

I-751 has been pending since February.

I applied today with the same timeline. No pending 1-751 though.

Just posting to say I filed my N-400 on 16th Nov, 90 days early of my 3 years anniversary of becoming a LPR, under the spousal route. Filed online, and received my receipt notification almost instantly, just stating that next step is biometrics appointment.

I am in Central Ohio, and wait time are reported to be about 7 months.

My receipt number starts IOE-96-585  so a little out of the range of others according to the online tracking tools like this: https://hilites.today/uscis_cases/ioe-stats  and this: https://www.casestatusext.com/forms/N-400/IOE-LB

Good luck everyone!

Applied yesterday online under a 5 year rule. A few months ago I filled out the same application nearly in its entirety but I went away to Europe and forgot the 30 day rule so the application got deleted. Yesterday, the filling out of the application took very little time, I was surprised by that... I could swear that last time there were many questions about my spouse, now only one - about how many times I was married. I wonder if a few months ago I was filling out under the 3 year rule because it just does not make sense to me that there would be such big changes all of the sudden.

Anyway, I am really curious how long this is going to take!

I applied on November 14 2024, within less than 30min it was already showing biometrics reuse in the "documents" section and status update to actively reviewing.

The timeline on the website changed from 8months down to 6months (after the status was updated).

As of today November 26, when i chatted with live agent, they advised my case is still at NBC and hasnt been transferred to local field office yet.

My FO should be Cleveland, OH.

The estimates on MyProgress are almost never accurate.

Holy #######, my interview is scheduled!

January 13th!

Does anyone know if Oklahoma is a same-day oath state? From memory, I don't believe it is, but I'm not sure.

Time to study for the test!

Wowww congratulations that’s really fast. Happy for you.

Husband filed his N-400 online on 11/29/24 under the 5 year rule.   Our LFO is Seattle, which has historically been a backlogged office for citizenship interviews.   Hopefully things have sped up!   Good luck, everyone.

I actually had my interview at the Seattle office over 5 years ago under the 5 year rule as well and it took 10 months because I moved from Utah to Washington and had to transfer my case at the Seattle office. I was scheduled for interview in Salt Lake City 8 months after filing and after I transferred it took additional 2 months in Seattle and oath ceremony was same day. I don't think it's that slow seemed like normal processing times back then.

Thanks for commenting!   The USCIS processing times for N-400 at Seattle now say 6 months for 80% of applications.

Having waited 18 months for I-751 and 13 months or so for AOS from K-1, we’d be thrilled with that!

When I first joined VJ in 2016, Seattle processing times were up to 2-3 years, so there’s been progress!

Well hello again, it must have been nearly 10 years since I’ve hung out here 😃

I had never planned on it but I had recently decided to do it anyway and filed my N-400 on 11/25 in CA.  Got the receipt right away but no “reuse of biometrics” nor the “is under review” message. I’m not surprised as it’s been over 7 years since I’ve received my permanent green card and have therefore not had any contact with the USCIS other than change of address. I’m filing under the 5 year rule and the estimated processing time online is 9 months.
