Filed November 22, 2024. Biometrics were scheduled for December 10, 2024. Case is being actively reviewed since then 😭

Pretty normal. There's ~13500 cases like yours on November filers. Only about ~2400 filers were approved.

For those of you who have had notice of your Oath Ceremony, is this notice sent to you from USCIS and does it appear in your account documents?  or does some other state related entity email / send a letter to you for the Oath ceremony?

"USCIS will notify you by mail of the time and date of your ceremony. The notice USCIS sends you is called the “Notice of Naturalization Oath Ceremony” (Form N-445)." https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/guides/chapter5.pdf

They will tell you your oath was mailed to you so you will receive a physical copy but also can find the copy under documents.

The Kiwi is a citizen!   🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸.   Applied 11/29/24 under the 5 year rule.

He brought all our tax transcripts and civil documents, but the officer didn’t need to look at any of them.   He was asked 6 questions, got all right.

The timing of having an afternoon appointment in Seattle was great, we waited about half an hour for the oath ceremony.   Sitting there as a born American, I realized that many don’t ever get to attend one-  it was an honor, and so interesting.   Everyone was SO happy ❤️🇺🇸.

Congrats!!!

Pretty cool when they can do it on the same day. I’ll have a name change on the menu which means I’ll prob need to wait for a court ceremony.

Since we received the email asking which two weeks we prefer, we haven’t heard anything back since.
Is this normal? We asked for 24 March or 21 April at the DC office.

Sooooo I did the interview today. Was 10 min long and easy. We first chatted about the weather then he asked for my green card and drivers license and any documents I previously submitted. Then he asked 6 questions and asked me to read and write a sentence. Then asked me if I committed any crime and if I understand the oath and who my employer is.
he also asked about my travel history.

he was so so so nice and approved me on the spot. Yayyyyy

Congratulations!

Interview today went well, no issues, but was given the 'a decision cannot be made yet about your application' notice, as I've been put forward to supervisory review, which I am not surprised about, was told 2-3 weeks for a decision, which will be mailed to me / posted to my USCIS account.

Hi everyone!

I just got my interview notice for a combo interview on April 10!

Is it common to get the option to select dates? I didn’t, but not complaining haha.

So nervous about getting ready for the test but also so relieved that the day will finally be here!

Wishing everyone the best and hope everyone hears back soon!!
