Wow, fast!

Yep! My whole process has been pretty fast I have to say.

Can anyone confirm if this is the current and correct list of questions?

How did you find the link?

If followed:

Found https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/questions-and-answers/OoC_100_Questions_2008_Civics_Test_V1.pdf

This is for sure the up to date list of questions and answers.

I also recommend downloading their app for practice! I've found that really useful in helping me remember everything 😊 I feel confident now that I'll pass, but I still practice once a week to keep it fresh in my mind. So pleased you got your interview date too!

Well hello again, it must have been nearly 10 years since I’ve hung out here 😃

I had never planned on it but I had recently decided to do it anyway and filed my N-400 on 11/25 in CA.  Got the receipt right away but no “reuse of biometrics” nor the “is under review” message. I’m not surprised as it’s been over 7 years since I’ve received my permanent green card and have therefore not had any contact with the USCIS other than change of address. I’m filing under the 5 year rule and the estimated processing time online is 9 months.

Status changed to:

Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS

9 days after receipt of case.

I do have the app too! But I want a list for my husband to run through with me.

I also applied November this year for n400

Applied Nov 7, 2024

Case is under review Nov 7, 2024

Biometrics reused Nov ,7 2024

Interview scheduled December 4th 2024 (for early january)

Today ( Dec 9th) I received an email saying there was action taken to my case and it shows the interview is "completed" and waiting for decision (but I haven't had my interview yet). I talked to an USCIS agent and said it's most likely a glitch.

wondering if anyone is experiencing glitches in the "my progress" tab?

Yes many people experience such glitches. There's nothing to be worried about. MyProgress is a joke that never should have been released to public. Inaccurate estimates, misleading statuses, constant outages...

Thank you, I am in los Angeles

Interesting. I’m only a stone throw away from you. The field office is in San Bernardino. My case takes longer. Even getting to the reviewing now status took 9 days. I assume it’s because they don’t seem to be able to reuse my biometrics after all those year. At that pace I have a feeling the estimated 9 months might turn out to be true for me.

I think it's going pretty fast overall. I have multiple friends who have gotten citizenship in the last few months within 4-5 months. I did my biometrics in 2018 and they have been reusing them since, in case that helps! Hopefully, you'll get yours moved to interview soon! :)

Well, turns out the online updates are somewhat unreliable indeed. Just had a letter in the snail mail saying they are going to reuse my biometrics. Never had any such notification on the online portal nor by email. I guess that has knocked off some significant waiting time. Who knows, maybe I’m also one of those lucky ones that get processed on 4-5 months after all.

It's interesting how they reuse years old biometrics for some and ask others to redo them within a year. My husband had biometrics done March this year for the I751 and had to do them again yesterday for the N400. Then status changed same day that it's being actively reviewed.

That is bizarre. I wouldn’t be surprised if they lose these things on occasion. Or maybe all the various field offices have different procedures 🤷🏻‍♂️ In any event, I hope you guys get your interview date soon.

Thank you! I doubt that but you never know. I do realize they schedule faster nationals of certain countries. But it's fine we came this far that's all that matters. I hope you'll get yours soon too like some others. I'm glad it's moving faster in general than other forms. Good luck!
