I haven't seen a thread for November 2024 filers yet. I want to create this thread and connect with November filers.

I filed online on November 1 from Virginia and immediately received my receipt. I didn't hear any other updates.

Filed online last night and immediately received a receipt number and an update that they would reuse biometrics from my previous filings.

This morning, the case status updated to "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS" - I'm a bit skeptical that it's already being reviewed less than 24 hours after filing, does anyone else have this status?

I filled out my form online on November 1, and immediately, my case status was updated to "Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS." I received the USCIS notices for a Biometric Reuse and Receipt Notice the same day. I guess the interview is the next stage, but I'm not sure how long we will wait for the interview date.

I haven’t filed yet but I will be soon. I’ve been hearing so many mixed opinions. Some say it’s easy and you don’t need a lot when you file and some say you need all of the relationship stuff like AOS and ROC. Which is it? What did you guys submit?

It depends on your risk tolerance. If you want to have the strongest case - send everything. Technically, USCIS can issue RFE if not happy with evidence submitted initially. If you're filing electronically, what's even a problem uploading everything, since you're not even printing stuff?

I do not think N-400 is "easy". It's the most important step of immigration journey, when entire history is reviewed and the greatest immigration benefit is given. I wouldn't take it lightly. As one lawyer says, it's the final chance of USCIS to deport somebody. It becomes almost impossible after naturalization.

Ok can do! We didn’t even have an interview for AOC or ROC, and so I think our applicants were pretty strong.

Adding another data point! We filed on 11-08-24 under the 3-year rule (came in thru K-1). Our I-751 is still pending (half way thru the 33.5 month processing time!).

Applied online. Received receipt and  biometrics reuse notice immediately. A couple of hours later status changed to "case is actively being reviewed".

Just waiting now :)

Just filed! Received the receipt number immediately, as others have said. It already says it's being actively reviewed and that biometrics will be reused. Processing time estimated at 7 months, I hope that's accurate - I waited a longgggggggggg time for I-751! Do we all have receipt numbers that being IOE? Is that the norm, and because I filed online? I think this is the first form I've been able to do this way, everything else has been stacks and stacks of paper.

Sadly, it's not. It's largely inaccurate.

Yes it's perfectly normal.

Good luck!
