I think the point is that he has said nothing about this, not even implied it, and why would he?

The more interesting question is where this comes from?

He hasn't, but his political opponents and their MSM allies have certainly raised the issue on a few occasions, one wonders why they call it fake news.

Because of the policies put forward by the incoming President and because I am a, albeit legally married and legal immigrant, homosexual.

Yeah. The lawyer I spoke to (through this site, actually) said as much, too. So... that's good to know but it's still pretty damn scary.

There is A LOT of misinformation about Trump...https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/gop-president-elect-donald-trump-sex-marriage-settled/story?id=43513067

Trump’s own wife is a legal immigrant. I don’t understand the hysteria over his immigration policies - he is against ILLEGALS who have no right to be here in the first place. Anyone who has gone through the process legally should have nothing to fear.

Last time he cancelled or severely restricted immigration programs, including work visas. And he's repeatedly said he's going to get rid of legal migrants too i.e. the Haitians who are already here legally. I don't understand why anybody thinks he's only going to go after illegals when his own past actions and words say differently. And I can understand the OP's concerns.

The liberal media is causing mass hysteria over Trump’s reelection. It’s illegals he’s after, and rightfully so. We should be happy about this - while undocumented aliens have been flooding through our border and getting special treatment, we get to go through the agonizingly long legal process ourselves or with our loved ones. We pay huge processing fees, while they are getting free handouts. People who break the laws of our country should not be given priority.

Sick of the media telling only half truths. I’m sure the next headline will be something like “Trump to deport any immigrants who didn’t cross the Bering Land Bridge 15,000 years ago…”

As I said, it's his own words and actions which make it clear it's not just illegal immigrants.

And I can sympathise with the OP and their worries due to it.

Don't believe what you read or hear via the media. The unbiased and on-point observations made here make things quite clear what is actually happening on 'ground level'.

It’s just nonsensical to think that someone who’s gone through the legal process could just randomly be deported.

I truly feel sorry for anyone who is unnecessarily working themselves into a frenzy over this election. There truly is nothing to fear and I hope that with time, people will start to see that.

I agree, it is nonsensical. But the migrants Trump has said he will deport ("you have to remove the people, and you have to bring them back to their own country") have been through the legal process of the TPS program, and random deportation is exactly what he's saying he'll do to them.

And remember the Muslim ban that he implemented last time? When 60,000+ people with visas had them 'provisionally revoked' even though they'd been through the legal process? And green card holders were refused flight boarding when trying to return to the US?

I hope you're right. But please don't dismiss the concerns that us legal migrants have, given his past actions and words towards other legal migrants in this country.

I don't watch Hacking much, but the few times I did he seemed to be fairly anti-Trump.  I wonder if he has said anything since Tuesday.

Here you are

When he says Immigrant he mainly means undocumented etc so can be confusing.

Now to be fair he did not have much time for Biden, extended timelines and did nothing. And actually called KK likely to lose sometime back.

Obviously this is all speculation and time will tell.

Here's the thing: both major parties use disinformation to prove their point.  Such is American politics.  I'd rather this robustness than the limp handshake of Europe and Australia, both continents I have lived in, and refuse to live in again.  Places where there is an active pretense of civility that is not manifested in reality.

As citizens and LPRs, it's our job to be alert and cogent to that disinformation, and to be rigorous adjudicators.  Is more than half the country racist, misogynistic, bigoted, blah blah blah?  No more than any other country, and I've lived in a few.  Heck, Australia is more racist than the US, in my experience.  And the UK, where I spent a year, isn't too fond of 'Pakis' like me, as I was informed on the regular back in the 90s / early 2000s when I lived there.

I like Kamala.  I don't mind Trump.  The US is bigger than both.

TLDR; again, no-one is coming after the LGBTQ+ community.  You would have been more in danger when Obama came into office against same sex marriage.
