Has anyone noticed any difference in the time it takes for an application to be officially "received" between the USPS PO Box addresses and the courier addresses at the lockboxes? We are getting ready to send in our AOS package to the Phoenix lockbox and are wondering if it will make a difference wether we send it to the PO Box via USPS Priority Express or to the physical address via Fed-Ex. Anyone have experience or even an opinion? Any responses would be greatly appreciated!

Courier: Hand delivered to USCIS desk manned by person during business hours.

USPS: sit in metal PO Box at local post office until USCIS agent comes to PO to pickup. Who knows how often. Likely at least every few days.

But guess what? Neither matters. Why?

Because you could send it courier, it gets signed for the next day and the pile is so high due to how many ppl are filing at the same time as you that it doesn't get accepted for processing for weeks (which is the current situation statically).

Advice? Accept the fact that everything is out of your hands.

File your preferred method. Hope for the best and go on with your life.
