My Fiancee was just denied the K-1 Visa, sadly I had a feeling this was coming.

I'm trying to research alternatives on what to do and I stumbled on the Utah Virtual Marriage, is this a possible alternative path for us?

I would like to pursue this path because Cambodia is corrupt and we're looking at a possible month to 1.5 months to get the documents just to marry. which is really unfeasible due to my job.

I had already planned to see her this upcoming weeks, so i'm thinking this is a good way to also get a head start on the CR-1 Path.

Yes   You can marry using  Utah  virtual process  before you visit or when you are there together. File the I 130 after you have all the  documents in hand including evidence that you have met after the date of the ceremony

Do you know why it was denied .. This is important as you need to be able to address this issue even when married

Yes it was denied because the consulate believed that our relationship was not genuine. I thought we prepped for everything but they asked my fiancee about a restaurant that we ended going to while on our trip and she didn't remember it and gave general directions.

It also a high fraud country so I get it. we'll be more proactive about documentation where we go this time around. I also think we didn't have a big enough timeline which may have been a red flag. honestly the K-1 Visa application went by pretty fast that it caught us all off-guard. I was expecting it to happen next year and not this year, we had gotten an interview within 6-7 months.

Spend more time together in person.  That's the "trump card" to the whole process.  Nobody in an official capacity cares how difficult that is based on your job.
