Not sure what you mean by 'the live scan person'. The question is, do you actually need a 'live scan' for your visa petition? Probably not. 

Please note that most forum members recommend you file your own petition and application, as simple cases are better done by yourself. It tends to prevent issues because you care way more about getting it right than third parties do. If you'd like professional assistance, you could approach some of the organisations that are trusted by VisaJourney members such as Boundless. 


As you are the applicant, you will probably need to disclose your arrests even if you were not convicted. Copied from the form:
