Hey guys,

Long story short: I filed for my AOS (K1 based) on September 8, 2023. Did biometrics TWICE in October 2023. Since then radio silence until this month when they scheduled me for an interview on November 18. Today I checked my USCIS account and under Documents I have "ESB Notice" and it is a biometrics appointment for November 15. Has anyone experienced something like this? I'm sooooo over this freaking process my gosh!!! 😩

Occasionally there are persistent issues with getting good quality fingerprints. My experience was that poorer quality prints get rejected but this isn’t addressed immediately.. rather it seemed to get sent by to the back of the queue. Maybe get your Congressional rep involved if out happens again after this round

Yes others have had the same experience, it's not quite as uncommon as you may think.

Hard to say, but it is interesting this is the second new thread asking essentially the same question by different members.  Was there any moves since filing the AOS (that could drive new biometrics)?  Beyond that, all you can do is attend as you don't want something as simple as a missed biometrics appointment to mess something up.

Good Luck!
