Question about husbands biometrics appt today

So my hubby went for his biometrics appt today. He just told me the lady who did it told him something about his EAD he's waiting on (ok ok he said he told me earlier when we left ISCIS but I don't remember lol). Anyway, he said that right before he left the room she said in 3-4 weeks he'd recieve his permission to work. ?? I didn't think they told that kind of info at the biometerics? Also, we're currently waiting on tax info from my dad (joint sponser) to send back for a RFE we received...and it stated on that RFE that his EAD wouldn't be processed any further (along with AOS of course) until they recieved the RFE. So my questions are: Is what the lady said true? He'd get his EAD in 3-4 weeks? What about what the RFE states??

Oh and also, I'm wondering if it IS true b/c I just checked the case online and the EAD was touched today. The I-485 and I-130 haven't been touched since July 17th.

Yes we do and there were 2. One for AOS and the other is for the EAD. I also editted my original post.

Two bar codes means an order for biometric collection for two cases. In this case one for your AOS and one for your EAD.

Your cases were both touched today because there was an entry made that the biometrics have indeed been collected.

You will have to respond successfully to your RFE before any interim benefits will be issued.

The nice lady at the office was just telling you how the process normally works. I'm sure she had no idea you have an outstanding RFE. It will need satisfied before the card will be issued.

ahh ok. Well we're working on getting that mailed in HOPEFULLY Monday...just waiting on my dads info in the mail. Oh and AOS doesn't state it was touched today at all. Just the EAD.
