They harassed me mentally that's their job, they want to make sure that u really come to just "visit" I was about to cry, i was inside for 2 to 3 hours n my family was outside. 2-3 hours is nothing, my uncle was inside that same office for 24 hours. My mom was crying. They were sooo rude, ruthless, n then they gave me a one month stay here while I was supposed to go back by end Jan. Well within my visa time.

Now I want to know what is the best way going fwd. what are my options I do not want to stop visiting my family. get a immigrant visa? I don’t want to go so soon you have no choice. also I want to go by end Jan my flight time.

that's up to CBP to decide, if they gave u 1 month, stick to 1 month or there will no more next time to visit. non immigrant visa is privilege and not a right. and 6 months is not a right, they can give u 3 days if they want.

Can officers take my phone. yes they can Look into my personal things. yes they can. u can refused and if they also refused you to enter, there's nothing u can do. in the end of the day, they have the upper hand, u want to enter USA and its up to them to decide. Harass me with just me in the room. just u in the room is not equal to harras Being a girl what if they touched me. do they touch u or not? if it already happened, did they touch u or not? you said IF, so my question, they touched u or not? please dont ask hypothetical question.

I come from a conservative background we do not meet males like this by ourselves. they dont care. they dont have the same religion like you. u cant demand them to treat you according to your religion, as long they do everything by the book (not ur religion book).  My dad/mom could have asked to let me be with them while questioning they wont let ur parent be with u, im sorry but this is the real world, u cant demand things, while u are the one who wants to enter the country. noone force you to come to the states.

I come from a decent family. Clean background, educated, all my family is on legal straight papers no drama. unrelated to ur case. u want to stay here longer than normal tourist. it doesnt matter if u are educated or not, cleaned background etc. ur family is on legal straight paper, u are not.

im not trying to be rude here, and not harsh at all, but u sound so entitled, all i can read here is WHERE IS MY RIGHT AS A TOURIST? ( YOU HAVE NONE).  all i read on ur long passage just list of things that doesnt mean anything to CBP. if u think u are entitled to have that right, u wont be on a visa tourist right now, u will be a LPR or USC.

u also wrote contradictive posts, 1 time u said u are not working at all, and the other post u said YOU WORK REMOTELY WHILE YOU ARE IN THE US SOIL. so which one? WORK IS WORK. REMOTE WORK, IN PERSON WORK ARE THE SAME. ITS WORK.

and before u said im so mean, no im not mean, im trying to open ur eyes. and yes, i've been on the office like u too, but i dont have that same expectation like you. i want to enter the US and only they can decide.i dont list any all my demand as a tourist just because I ALSO (like u) come from well background, very well educated, always have nice jobs, came from money and traveled to 32 countries, live in 3 countries SO FAR. it doesnt justify me to complain about GIVE ME MY RIGHT AS A TOURIST. again, u are a tourist and not citizen.

in the end of the day, can you say NO to all their questions? of course u can, it's not they gonna hurt you if u just stay quiet and refuse to answer any of their questions. but they also can refuse you, and nothing u can do. so what's it gonna be?

My job is back home in Dubai and I work for that job remotely while I am in US.

That is working inside the US.  You could be removed and banned for that.

I have never worked in the US and I will never do anything that’s illegal. My job is back home in Dubai and I work for that job remotely while I am in US.

This is what we are telling you is NOT permitted under the terms of a B visa.    Working remotely-  don’t do it!

no reason to visit family in USA as they are not yet living here / u can  see them when they are in your home country

u should read the following site about personal searches at POE

Every one of us is subject to a search if CBP senses a need to search  even born in US citizens and LPR

U can be taken for search when leaving or entering the US

https://www.cbp.gov/sites/default/files/assets/documents/2023-Apr/April 2021 Personal Search Handbook_Redacted.pdf

1.1 Personal Search Definition A Personal Search is a search of a person to determine whether the individual is carrying contraband, undeclared merchandise, weapons, or means of escape, close to, or inside of, the individual’s body.

4.1.3 No Prior Supervisory Approval Needed Given that the immediate patdown is conducted to protect the officer and public from weapons or dangerous objects, the officer may perform the search immediately upon suspecting there is a safety concern and need not seek prior supervisory approval for the search. If a weapon or dangerous object is discovered, the officer should immediately contact a supervisor after the completion of the immediate patdown

Consent not needed except for cavity searches which must be done at medical facility

u can decline this but more than likely the visa would be cancelled

6.6.1 Voluntary Body Cavity Searches A subject can be sent for a body cavity search utilizing a voluntary, or nonvoluntary method. The voluntary method requires consent from the subject for a body cavity search to be conducted

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents can search phones and other electronic devices at ports of entry to enforce the law and protect border security. This includes searching for:
  • Digital contraband, such as child pornography or classified materials
  • Information related to terrorism
  • Information about a visitor's admissibility

They took me in the room n officer questioned why I am here I said visiting family. Then they took my phone n left. Then 5 officers came n sat infront of me n started grilling me. They asked me so many questions like go how long will you stay. Show us your tickets back. Why are you here. Do you work. I told them I work back home and I showed them my payslips. I freelance online so moving n working  is easy. Then they asked me things about my family here in USA n also kept listening n seeing my phone msgs.

In these 3 posts you have given us conflicting information:

1. You work for the job in Dubai remotely while you are in the US.

2. No, your freelance work requires you to be physically be in Dubai

3. Actually, your freelance work is online and you can move around and work.

Illegal work is not just working and getting paid in the US.  Illegal work is also online work for a foreign company while you are physically in the US.

I would guess this is why CBP took you to secondary examination.  You were lucky they allowed you entry and not revoke your visa.  You were given 1 months on this visit.  You cannot stay until January.  If you want to be with your parents full time, and they are finalizing their move to Austin, then your parents should petition for you as F2A or F2B.

For your next visit, I would wait at least 6 months and plan for a 1-2 month visit.
