Missing Info I-485

Filed I-485 for my wife who came on K1 visa. After going through form I noticed I forgot to add her mom’s maiden name under other names and only filled in her current legal name. Will not be petitioning for her Mom, just an oversight. Is this likely to be an RFE?

She can still correct this by sending errata sheet in unsolicited evidence and at interview. RFE is possible. As to sponsoring her mom, you never know, things can change in the future when she becomes a citizen.

Thank you. Interview was waived.  Should I upload cover sheet via portal explaining oversight and the corrected page on 485 reflecting mom’s maiden name or just wait to see if she gets RFE and have response ready to send?

How do you know it was waived? Do you have approval already? If you're relying on chat to Emma or call to USCIS, I wouldn't. They give false info all the time.

 

If it bothers you, can probably reply now. RFE may never come.

Thank you.  I’ll just hold off and deal with RFE if it comes.
