Hello!

I am a naturalized US citizen, and my boyfriend got his B2 visa approved recently (after being denied last year). I am planning on moving back to my home country, and the idea is for him to travel to the US for two weeks to maybe travel over a weekend and help me pack and take everything with me in a flight back home. He has a job (has had it for a year) with a good salary and owns his apartment.

Since I know people from my country who have been sent to secondary screening (and one was denied entry), and my boyfriend's visa was denied last year, I am extremely anxious about him being denied entry. I was wondering how he could best prepare in case they require a second screening or have further questions for him. Is a copy of the itinerary for my flight back enough? I own the apartment I am moving to back home, would having a picture of my deed be helpful? I would appreciate any other ideas of what other things could be presented as proof.

His entry does not really depend on your situation, but rather his need to return.  Bring his evidence that he needs to return in a week or so, and make sure he answers CBP questions truthfully.  He can take your evidence that you are also moving out of the US if he is asked.

Good Luck!
