I-751 October 2024 Filers

I searched but couldn’t see the thread for i-751 October filers so i decided to start one. Our package was delivered today at IL, hopefully this kickstarts the process for us.

Hi Treasure1, we shipped our I-751 packet on October 28 and it got delivered today in Elgin, Chicago. we ship UPS and It say on the tracking status " Left At Dock " and received by RICARDO. I wonder if you got the same person received the packet? I'm kind of worried. Thank you for your help!

I think you should be fine, mine was just delivered to a p.o box in  carol stream IL,  CC not charged yet, keeping my fingers crossed and hoping to hear something soon.

Congratulations, what time did they texted you? we kind of worry now since we receives no text, email from them yet, USCIS account still have nothing new on it. Check still not cashed yet neither. Our packet was delivered on Wednesday morning by UPS to

Now I checked our receipt and tracking and saw that the UPS lady did not put ATTN: in front of I-751. I wonder if it because of that it would cause the delay for us. But it was signed by someone when it was delivered so we really not sure. Pray god it will be ok.

@USALove1221 it can take days and even weeks for USCIS to start working on case.

 

Did you file form G-1145 for text message notifications?

Yes, the G-1145 right in front of the packet then Form I-751 with the personal check clipped on top of the form.

Then you may receive the text when case is created. It's known to be unreliable. I'd give at least 2-4 weeks for USCIS to cash the check.

Oh ok, thank you so much! My wife green card will be expire in mid December so we are kind of very worry if it is getting there safe or not. We prepare very good for this packet. Around 4.5" thick of documents. Finger Crossed.

You definitely will hear from them shortly, mine took three days before i hear from them.

For many people it takes weeks. Three days is super fast, I wouldn't expect it as a rule, more of an exception.

Hi sorry mine starts Nov 5th, but trying to get things together. For joint filing, still married, we don't need passport style pictures, right? Unless you file while outside the country (which we are not)? I was reading the site, but I want to make sure 😅
