yes my wife has previous kids from another marriage. Will this affect the way the uscis looks at us and maybe cause them to deny our visa? we have the divorce decree, and all the documents that we need (nso mc, nbi sec, etc...) maybe this is just nonsense worry but i thought i would ask you guys on here.

If you wife is the foreigner and is bringing the kids with her, it will impact your process in that you will need a higher income to qualify as sponsor. Also, depending on the ages, they may not be eligible to immigrate. The K3 process itself is going to be very expensive by the time you file to adjust status.

Reason for denial? No, as long as you qualify to sponsor all that are immigrating.

It also depends on what her divorce decree says on whether she can remove the children from their native country. It will also matter if her ex does not want the children to leave the country. Kind of like in the USA when a divorced parent, many times, is not allowed to leave the state of their ex so he/she can visit. What does her ex say? Nothing is ever as easy as "sure, others have done it". Maybe the others ex-spouses didn't care or they didn't even know who the father was. Check the divorce paperwork and I would just do a consultation with an immigration attorney before you go through the whole process and get to the interview and find out your not approved because the father is contesting.

I am an engineer with Northrop Grumman, so the financial requirement is not a problem. Nor is the father protesting any claim to the kids in fact he abandoned them with no communication for the last five years. They are very young under ten years old. I was just wondering would it cause an opinion to form on the part of USCIS. You know its very rare for someone to petition a woman with several kids. However, they call me dad now and they are as much a part of my life as is she. I was just hoping that they dont have a bias towards this.
