02-20-08 - Received at the Chicago Lockbox after 12 days!! :( stupid USPS

02-26-08 - NOAs for I-485 and I-765

02-27-08 - Check cashed

03-14-08 - AOS Transfer notice to CSC

03-21-08 - Sent AP (I-131) package off

03-26-08 - Biometrics complete! AOS and AP show up online

Well he had his interview today, and I am still kind of puzzled :unsure: ... not sure what really happened and I started a topic about it with all the details... here is the link http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=92290

If ya'll can read it and let me know what you think? They said it would be another month :( I am getting so fed up with never knowing the "how long" questions :(

anyways, congrats on everyone's good luck and Approvals!! May we all be reunited soon :)

Sorry I've been away for a while...I am so happy to hear of everyone's great news of getting approved!!!

Pete just got Packet 4 in the mail, and his interview date is set for November 8th at 10am in London!!! Can't wait..it's finally...almost over!!!

I-129F

13 April 2007--Mailed I-129F (Processed at California Service Center)

18 April 2007--Received NOA1

13 Aug. 2007--Received NOA2

09 Oct. 2007--Medical in London

08 Nov. 2007--Visa Interview & Approved

14 Nov. 2007--Pete receives K1 visa in the mail

21 Nov. 2007-- Pete arrives in the United States (together at last!!)

27 Dec. 2007--Our 3 year anniversary of being engaged

16 Feb. 2008--We were married!!

Well it was 136 days in between our NOA1 and NOA2.

It has been 38.5 days (5.5 weeks) and NVC has not received it from the CSC.

K1: Flew to the U.S. of A. – January 9th, 2008 (HELLO CHI-TOWN!!! I'm here.)

Tied the knot (legal ceremony, part one) – January 26th, 2008 (kinda spontaneous)

AOS: Mailed V-Day; received February 15th, 2007 – phew!

I-485 application transferred to CSC – March 12th, 2008

Travel/Work approval notices via email – April 23rd, 2008

Green card/residency card: email notice of approval – August 28th, 2008 yippeeeee!!!

Funny-looking card arrives – September 6th, 2008 :)

Mailed request to remove conditions – July 7, 2010

Landed permanent resident approved – August 23rd, 2010

Second funny looking card arrives – August 31st, 2010

Hi everyone!

Has anyone who is waiting that long to reach NVC tried to contact your congressmen regarding that ridiculous wait. It just insane. No verification, no decision that needs to be made, just simply sitting in a mail room and waits to be shipped. May be congressional inquiry on each personal case can move it finally out?

05 - 16 - 2007 - Sending off of my I-129F package

10 - 16 - 2007-Got NOA2 !!!!

12 - 11 - 2007 Interview date

K1 visa -APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!

January 15, 2008 -married

Submitted docs for AOS ...but ,very unfortunately, my husband had to return back to Ukraine due to emergency without travel document (AP)

Starting K3 process ......

back to the waiting game...

K-3 route

07-10-2008-I-130 sent

07-15-2008-Check cashed

07-16-2008-NOA1 at CSC

07-21-2008-Hard copy of NOA1

07-23-2008-129F sent

07-27-2008-129F received at Chicago lock box (sent by mistake there instead of CSC)..

08-12-2008 I-130 NOA 2 !!!!!!!!!

10/24/2007 Interview in Moscow, visa approved

12/06/2007 Entered at JFK, got EAD stamp.

01/25/2008 Married in St. Augustine, FL

02/19/2008 AOS package mailed

09/30/2008 AOS interview - APPROVED!

10/11/2008 Green card in the mail

01/14/2009 Our little girl, Fiona Elizabeth, was born on Jan. 14, 2009 :-)

I've tried, they allegedly got it 'expedited' out after about two weeks in the mailroom, but it still didn't get sent for another week or two despite the congressional inquiry. I wasn't able to set my appointment until about 7 weeks after my NOA2. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but your situation is likely only to be better than mine and before you know it your SO will be here....good luck!

K-1 Visa Timeline

4/9/07 - Mailed 129-f to CSC

4/10/07 - Received at CSC

4/11/07 - NOA1

8/3/07 - NOA2 116 days

8/6/07 - Touch (notice of approval)

8/21 - Sent to NVC (allegedly)

8/25 - 8/29 - Traveled to Ukraine to see my baby!

8/31 - Actually sent to NVC at 6:27pm (I knew that allegedly was appropriate)

9/7 - Received at NVC (finally), case number assigned!!!

9/11 - Sent by NVC to Kiev!

9/24 - Interview set via phonecall

9/25 - Medical Appt - passed!

11/2 - Interview - APPROVED

AOS/EAD/AP Timeline

12/13 - Civil Marriage Ceremony

1/29 - Mailed AOS, EAD, AP

2/4 - NOA1

3/20 - EAD and AP approved

5/10 - Wedding Ceremony

5/27 - AOS Interview - APPROVED
