There was a teacher who substituted at my high school whose last name was Whitehead. o_O Every time I had her come in my class she would give a speech about how we shouldn't be rude to her before she told us her name. XD Poor lady.

A guy who graduated about a year after me from my high school was named Harold Hiney, I kid you not! They printed his name as 'Harry Hiney' in the yearbook!!!!

I worked with a fella named Sandy Shore in Plano, Texas...he was a nice guy but he looked just like Ichobod Crane. He was tall and lanky and got beat up with a ball pein hammer in downtown dallas. I miss him, he was a great guy.

Of course, there's the famous Ima Hogg from Houston Texas, she was a famous heiress and there is a house in Houston that belonged to that family.

Being a school nurse I come across lots of names that I just shake my head at thinking the parents were foolish or cruel...of course I can't name those names due to confidentiality, but some people just don't think of the consequences of the names!!!

There's a doctor here with the last name of Payne. Also, an judge with the last name of Fuchs (the correct pronunciation rhymes with pukes).

I was in the military with a guy who's last name was "Fuchs". All the sergeants always mispronounced his name as "F-ucks". And it wasn't on purpose.

Growing up, I remember 2 kids who's parents were hippies. One kid was named "Free" and the other "Universe". Not long ago, I was listening to the radio and they were discussing about a soon-to-be-mother and her mother were at odds with each other. Because the soon-to-be-mother wants to name her child "Tapioca"!!! Her mother was seriously protesting the name of "Tapioca" being given to her grandchild. Sometimes, trying to be original with naming a child is nothing but hell for the person growing up and being picked on by the other kids

When I worked for MCI Worldcom I was an escalation representative. When you call customer service and ask for a supervisor, you just get transfered to a rep that's been there longer and has permission to curse, but will usually back up the rep you just spoke with (provided they were following the rules)

So one day I get this call, and the rep tells me, "I don't know what her name is or her number, she won't tell me she just asked for a supervisor!" She transfers her in and this lady is PISSED! She's yelling right away that no one takes her serious and everywhere she goes she gets laughed at. "I am new to this country and I can tell you no one in Vietnam treats me like this! What kind of country is this?!?!?!" I calmed her down and finally got her number to get to her account. As the account is pulling up I ask her to verify her name and address.

Phat Ho (I think you already know how that's pronounced)

Notes on her account talked about:

Phat Ho called in and we discussed rates

Call disconnected, no Phat Ho on my line.

This Phat Ho wanted to add an international calling plan.

There were others in my 3 year career there, but I will never forget Phat Ho :D
