She was a teacher, and then Principal in the Philippines. Here in the USA she reinvented herself. She is a Captain (soon to be Major) in the U.S. Air Force Nurse Corps. We were stationed in Germany for 4 years, and now have been in Alaska at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson for over a year now. Currently, even while on active duty, she is working on her PhD in Healthcare Administration. We share a 14 year old son who plans on going to the U.S. Air Force Academy when he graduates high school (a gpa of 4.0, straight A+ student!)

 

Just posting this to show how this journey really can work out great!
