My boss has asked if I were willing to move to Philly. Beign native Californian, my initial reaction was along the lines of "HELL NO"! :lol:

But now I am trying to take a minute or two to consider it. But I really do not know Philly to make a decision. Anybody got reasons for /against?

Living in CT all I hear is that the only other place in the country more expensive is CA.. would your cost of living/ taxes be lower perhaps?

Paywise I should be fine. Housing might be complicated. Then there is the issue of frozen water that falls every year.

Love philly. Loveeee itttt. If I could live there I would because it is not nearly as $$ as NYC. Great people, lots of stuff to see. Has a little problem with crime but...I think the greatness masks that.

Naw.. you just invest in a good set of winter tires.. the thing is most people don't bother cause of the cost.. it helps driving.. BIG TIME.. it's the other fools on the roads you gotta look out for!!

Layers .. loads of layers.. and down filled jackets.. mmmmmm and touques.. and wool.. all good things.. Bring on the WINTER!! Now i'm excited!! :dance:
