afternoon everyone

I just got off the phone with the consulate talked to a real nice Lady, ( only 10 min on hold )

to my suprice they got me on the waiting list since July 31 she said from that date it will be 4-6 month till the interview, ( so my guess is more towards Jan since there will be hollydays in oct ,Nov and xmas )

I also asked her about the expiration date on NOA 2 ,

she replied it will be extended at the interview with a new letter of intend to marriage from my fiance

( and yes he can be with me at the interview , yeahhhh)

also the lil mistake I did on DS 156 conserning the question have you ever been issued a visa ,

will be corrected at the interview no need to print another DS 156 ,

( but will do it anyhow better save then sorry incase they ask )

had to share that with you all yeahhhhhh finaly made it on the waiting list too ,

So glad that you got someone nice and helpful!... I just sent Packet 3 this afternoon!...Were not counting on hearing anything until around Jan/Feb...if it happens before then, great, but not holding my breath!...LOL

Thank you and yup every lil news is good news ,

I didnt expect to be on the waiting list for at least another week from the e mail reply the send me wich said they dont look at new mail for 2-3 weeks after resiving it ,

so it totaly supriced me in a good way to hear am already on the list since 31 of july

and kim I would call them in about a week or 2 just to give you a piece of mind ,

theyr very friendly and helpfull when you call ( hope they goin to be as nice at the interview as they are on the phone ,lol ) good luck lona

if they told you 4-6 months they must be really starting to get those interviews done. Its no longer 5-7 months like before then?

BUT if I could make a pish noise and roll my eyes on here I would.

THEY LIE....they tell you one thing....interview is coming up, call again, they get mad and say months.

Lookit some of us. Alan had been calling and he JUST happened to call and found out his interview was in 2 days.

When you think you MIGHT be getting close, you need to hound them, because you'll get a different answer from the same person each time.

Yes I'm mad, I'm mad at the way they did Ron (interview date and interview) and I'm mad for them telling me something different everytime I called.

I know they kinda tell you a date to keep your mind at piece , thats why i set my mind to around jan thats 6 month from when they put me on the list , am still glad i got some news and made it on the list

but will be calling them every week or 2 starting end of nov , maybe I can anoy them and they give me a early apt too just to get me off there backs , lol

Melyssa you can read at the MTL timeline to interview forum , Rons story is there must be pretty nerve wracking for them , but at least he got the doc on his side , so I bet they will be ok ( I hope )

It's been a rough couple days is all...come on,freak out over maybe missing my interview, go all day and most of the next day, then I get the interview date, bouncing off the walls, then I read Ron's post.

I'm so tired right now that I'm actually breathing, someone could hand me a visa and all I'd get out of me is that's nice.

I hear ya it is nerve wracking had a pretty rough week my self chit happend but still standing strong ( or pretending to be ) , but yeah looking at a visa at this point would be eh yeah NICE , hehe lol
