Need help ASAp adjustment of status returned

Hello, I had submitted an adjustment of status packet for my parents and it was returned. Reason stated signature and missing page. But looks like the page is there they just moved it to the back because the signature was typed written instead of cursive. But they opened the medical exam i693. And marked a line through the barcode at the bottom of the whole package. And there a plain green page that says if you resubmit the application put this page on top. Do I just change out the signature page and send everything as is with the line stricken through the bar code? Also okay to send the open medical exam? I’m in crunch for time.

It’s ok and much easier to just have them sign in cursive , under the old signature ( big and use a blue ink ) also write new signature date. Do not cross out the earlier block print signature and date.
Yes, it has worked

Yes send the medical back as is

Are you trolling? Blue ink?

“Trolling”?   Jeez.   That person is a very well respected member of visa journey.

You’re new here.   You’d do well to avoid being rude when people try to help you.

Was not ment to be rude. Was asking a serious question because it specifically says use black ink in the instructions.

You can use a different pen ( so a thin sharpie ex) or distinguish the new signature by designating X____________ something like that

In the realm of DIY , you come across many out of “instruction box” hacks😂

Is it okay that the barcode is crossed out? On all the pages ? And could just replace the signature page with a new one and leave everything els as is? Also the i693 opened has the same signature. Should I do the same on that or just leave as is? Thank you for your help. And as I mentioned above I meant no disrespect.

Barcode crossed out was done by USCIS, so do dot alter it.

‘Yes you can replace ALL the signature pages for I-485/i-765/I-131….if you choose..just make sure revision date is same

but I DON’T recommend it for I-693 as form was prepped by doctor , not applicant.

I dont understand when I look at instructions it says that the signature does not have to be in cursive. So I’m not sure y it got rejected??

People sign in many ways, some with limited writing skills do block printing , some do an artistic scribble without name being legible .
Rejection is not out of ordinary. ..it did not look like a signature to the human reviewing it. …some civil docs actually contain signature ( a quick visual comparison also possible).

Just fix it , not worth arguing unless you can prove w other docs that block print is their usual signature

Then take that position and still go through the steps of resigning ( in block print ) new date AND add a short explanation on a Cover letter ( u could notarize the letter, but nor required if it’s a hassle)

Also in sharpie pen write on green rejection slip “ Rejection in Error See Attached Signature Affirmation)

Dear Officer,

On xyz , the Service rejected above ref I-485 for ‘ lack of signature “ . The rejection is a Service Error. Applicants usual manner of signing is block printing as was submitted. ..as evidenced by the signature page of passport # . issued by country x and the attached sa
