1-864 question for AOS application

Hello everybody,

i have a question about a page on the 1-864. pg 3 actually,

the question is INDICATE MOST RECENT TAX YEAR.

What year would i put in there? I am submitting the AOS package this year-2006.I have filed for taxes for 2005.

the example form shows the year the 1-864 was submitted in which case it was 2003. which in my case, i would have to put 2006

As anybody noticed this issue.

what would be the correct year.

Put down tax year 2005

Did you already do a medical ?

No i have not done the medical.My fiance did it when he got his k1 visa.

We filed in 2005, and put our most recent tax year as 2004, since that was when he last filed. We'll bring our 2005 filed tax forms to our interview.

You have filed taxes for 2005, so this would be your most recent tax year.
